Nurzhamal Karamoldoeva

A Kyrgyz filmmaker working as an Executive Director at the Center for Civic Engagement of the American University in Central Asia. She teaches film at TV, Film and Media Arts department of AUCA. Nurzhamal creates both fiction and documentary films. Her documentary “Medrese” (2021) on religious education in Kyrgyzstan won Best National Film at the XV IFF on Human rights “Bir duino”.
